I'd give a higher rating if not for the abrupt non-ending.

I've been eagerly awaiting this release and I wasn't disappointed.

Whilst I didn't like how slow the book felt or the fact it spanned over 2 days and barely made a dent into the story, I absolutely love the characters.

I love that Miss Huda was brought back into it, I am so intrigued by Cyrus (as let's face it we all love a morally grey character).

But I have so many questions and need to know where this story is going! What deal did Cyrus make with the devil, will Kamran realise he was wrong about Alizeh?
And most importantly, what will Alizeh do about her crown 👑 and Cyrus Vs Kamran (as there is no way they can be friends).

Tahereh Mafi just does it for me every time. I don’t think I can wait until next year for the final book.

ALIZEHCYRUS ENDGAME IDC. At first, I was like “Nooo, I hate Cyrus. Give me Kamran, I love Kamran” but then, after finishing, I was like “Wait…who’s Kamran???” (Still love him though). I do like Alizeh and Cyrus better together because I felt like they had more of a connection. Kamran, I felt, only wanted to be with her because she’d make a good queen, but Cyrus wants to be with her because she’s her. If that makes sense. I’ve actually never seen a man on his knees for a woman like this in my life, and I am absolutely living for it.

Tahereh Mafi always seems to make me fall for murders… It’s really bad… I also don’t know how she’s made me fall for a blond and now and ginger man. It’s like her specialty.

This is by far the best sequel I have ever read. Usually, sequels don’t live up to my expectations, but this one exceeded them.

This series gives me the feeling that disney princess movies used to give me. so even though they aren’t anything super special I enjoyed reading it and will be reading book 3.
