I picked this one up from the library on a whim. It has a red cover, which was a category on my summer reading bingo card. I was also drawn to it by the praise I'd heard over the years about V. E. Schwab. It's not what I expected but it was definitely interesting. I really got into the story quickly.

I also really liked that there was a bonus short story included called "Warm Up". It really left me thinking.

Can someone explain to me how a literal child can magically fight and knows how to shoot a gun, did she get it with her EO? Also.... is that how Victor and Eli are described in Vicious, cuz that is not how I imagined either of them.

Good story otherwise, beautiful artwork, yet somehow disappointing.

This is would be a great read for fans of Schwab's Vicious series. The graphic novel has a nice synopsis of the characters and adds a new character or two to the story.

It was just okay for me, but the Villians series is not my fave. I picked this one up for the cover alone.

A quick read that brought V.E. Schwab's world to life. I enjoyed the new characters and the artwork. As some other people have said, it's not exactly how I pictured Eli and Victor, but I thought the artwork was really good overall. My only complaint would be that they spent time retelling backstory from the first book which was unnecessary and would have been better served on the character development of the new EOs.

I’ve been meaning to read this graphic novel since I read Vicious a few months ago. It was pretty neat getting to see what Eli has been up to post the events of Vicious and I’m intrigued to see if Charlotte is going to be an impactful character in Vengeful. It was overall a fine read as it wasn’t overwhelmingly interesting, but definitely has geared me up to read Vengeful ASAP.
