This was interesting. I can't say I loved this it wasn't the best out of the series but I was happy she got her happy ending.

This book was fine, but I didn’t really like Gizelle.

There aren’t many scenes where Conall and Gizelle get to know each other because any time they are supposed to spend time together, Gizelle runs off. I understood that she’s had a very hard past, but it seemed like she wasn’t even trying. Any time she decided that they should do something together, they would start their date and then Gizelle would get startled or uncomfortable and would run off.

There were some other characters, but they weren’t shown enough to see their relationships with Conall and Gizelle. When Conall’s mother comes to visit, it was obvious what would happen and I just didn’t care.

I might try to read Scarlet’s book, but other than that, I probably won’t continue with this series.

Conell is a bit of a grump. Due to a car accident, and delayed treatment ... Conell lost his hearing. Which is bad, considering he's a renown musician. Gizele is starting to come out of her shell, but she misses Neal ... and is still scared of a lot of things.

Once Conell realizes she's his mate, he's actually amazing with her. There's issues with his mother that Gizele actually handles pretty well. It's Christmas time, so there's the sweetness of the holiday sprinkled in also.
