You've heard of the 'fake relationship' and 'found family' tropes, but have you heard of 'fake found family'?!
I recently watched the first season of the anime adaptation of this series (at least, the first 12 episodes that are out to date). I was immediately hooked and wanted more of the fluff and ridiculousness. So, naturally, I turned to the manga that inspired it. (At least, as soon as the long queue of holds at the library permitted...)
This is such a cute and silly, yet emotionally engaging premise. I love Loid, Anya and Yor already. Their personalities and idiosyncrasies are well-imagined and the art is superb. Genuinely, if you feel a little wrung out and empty inside, this series could turn your whole day/week/life around.
