This was haunting, confronting and at times so tense I declared it a ‘only read during the day’ book. The authors ability to describe the visceral sensation of such fear inducing experiences was beyond anything I had ever read before.

a weird book narrated by a deeply unlikeable character! this didn't quite hit for me but I appreciate the intensity
(and I'm glad I read it so I don't have that eye looking at me from my tbr anymore)
