The conclusion to Rosario+Vampire: Season 1!
It combined all the elements I have loved about this series and gave a satisfying ending, whilst also getting me pumped to start Season 2! I probably will at some point soon, but I most probably want to check out some other Shonen Jump mangas first. I have a lot of popular series to catch up on now I’m fully invested in reading manga.
I remember first watching the anime when I was younger, at the end of High School, so I’m really glad I got around to finally reading it! And Season 2 will be completely new to me as I never watched it, so that’s exciting.

If you like cutesy teen dramas with monsters, gore and vampire x human romance - then this is the series for you!

Overall season review and storytime of my journey with this manga series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOiAOR91OFI

I can't believe I've read the end of this series! If you've been following my progress on Goodreads for a while, you would know that this was a long time coming!
I'm so happy I've finished it before the end of the year, so now I can decide if I want to continue on with the next series of volumes next year.
Unlike the vast majority of these mangas, there were quite a few things that happened in here that were really unexpected to me! I enjoyed the chapter a lot (which put me in a good mood for the rest of the manga), because it felt refreshing having a regular mortal exploring the school grounds and gave me a nostalgic feeling of Tskune's arrival many books ago, which I feel was mirrored at the end and came full circle.
The translators notes on this one was really funny, but there were a few times where his translations didn't make the most sense it could have made, but of course, it was still readable (note: I read this online, not the physical verified translation, so this is a totally understandable).
I really enjoyed being back with our fun group of friends (frienemies in some cases haha), but I really thought Tskune wouldn't be coming back and something really bad would happen! I was actually expecting there to be a big twist, with everyone saying they know Tskune's secret and that them being around him and behaving would be their passing project! Alas, I was wrong, but that would have been so funny.
The last chapter felt like it would have worked better as an early scene and felt a bit backwards and I was totally right in that thought process because it was some sort of flashback, and even though I enjoyed it, I felt like it was a bit of a cop out because we didn't really get to spend time with our present day characters for that finale chapter!
I really liked the fourth wall comic strips at the end of this volume! It really made me chuckle.

Overall, this was a fun ending to an up and down journey I've had with this series.

Pick it up, give it a go and enjoy! >(^_^)<
