I haven’t read the other books in this series but this one truly stands alone; no background knowledge required. I really enjoyed the well described challenges of language and cultural difference that had to be surmounted by the characters.

The story was fast paced and enjoyable and I really enjoyed the the quirks of the characters, especially the rambling of the female lead. A real Tarzan and Jane adventure in the jungle romance.

The story was dual POV, well written and edited, and fun to read.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a good story lots of adventure and scary moments. I like they had to get to know each other while running h fb or their life. No time to come up with lies and so on.

I didn't like this book as much as I liked the other books in this series. I think the atmosphere was kind of too dark for me. I highly recommend the other books in this series though. I have given them all a 5 star rating.

I would've liked to have seen Wulf have a little more self-esteem and respect given to him upon his return to his home. I think he was treated badly by the rest of his clan. Did like the return of Treese.

I have enjoyed this series, but this book is my least favorite entry. The heroine was a bit wishy-washy and the plot device was not my favorite. The writing was decent, though, so someone who is a fan of the "couple trapped on an inhospitable planet" story may enjoy it more than I did.
