Quirky. The chapters all start with the kids playing a game of some sort which was a little confusing at first but made for some really cool art. It's dark and funny, not suitable for middle grade even though the kid characters are young. Certainly a book I'd recommend but won't be re-reading.

Action packed and funny, the layout serves the pace very well. Loved how badass the main character is.

Was recommended by my comic book guy some time ago and I shouldn’t have waited so long to read it. You shouldn’t either!
