There are no words to describe the poetry and the illustrations made about nighttime.

A cute picture book.
My students and I watched an interview with Grant Snider, the author, as part of our Kansas Day learning this year. He mentioned that there are little bits of Wichita in dome of the illustrations.

A clear window, a silver moonbeam, a midnight snack.

Note to self: Read this artist's works if you feel down.

I didn't know "moonbow" was a thing, and now I want to witness it.

It's the simplicity of it all for me. This is what my mind was craving lately, some minimal and concrete concept development.

Beautiful! A great way to encourage children to look a little deeper. I think it would pair well with [b:A Day So Gray|43015310|A Day So Gray|Marie Lamba|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1550841236l/43015310._SX50_.jpg|66837723] in that regard.

This simple book looks at the rainbow of colors that appear at night - from yellow moons to red city lights to silver stars. Pair with other out-of-the-box color books like THE BLACK BOOK OF COLORS or GREEN.
