I enjoyed this series, parts had good plot and spice lvl was very high. I think there is another book in this series but I couldn’t find the audiobook.
This was the story of the father but followed on from books 1 to 3. Male narrator I found was slow, but I speed it up and it was better listening for me.

Macalister was my favorite character in this series and this book did not disappoint. His dominance was so hot yet he showed his emotional side in a way that surprised me throughout the entire story. I need more!

This book was surprisingly good. Considering how much I detested McAllister from the first few books in the series, I was not expecting to enjoy this book so much . Nikki did a complete 180 with his character and it was quite enjoyable to watch.

Well, will you look at that! It was going to take a whole lot of convincing for me to even believe someone like Macalister Hale was worthy of redemption, and Nikki Sloane more than showed me he was someone who could change for the better. Sloane whipped together one heck of a story for him and paired him up with a formidable female main character in Sophia Alby. I was intrigued from the beginning, became invested, and by the end, the story paid in dividends many times over. This author is able to switch from romantic comedies to darker romances with suspense and mystery mixed in, and she has yet to disappoint. The Redemption can be read on its own, but I highly recommend you read the first three novels--The Initiation, The Obsession, and The Deception--for a more well-rounded experience. Seriously, you will not regret doing so. Five-plus stars.

While I still am a little disappointed that the hero hadn't ended up with Marist in the trilogy, I was glad he got a HEA. I did miss all his "deals" in this book and the grittier side to him. However, I did like watching him evolve and show some of his vulnerability.

Looking forward to Vance and his story. 2021 seems so far away though.

I hated Macalister in the last two books, but I liked him in his own book.
