Dickens hits as always! I love when books have a large cast of characters that initially seem unrelated, but then become interwoven in a thousand ways (kind of reminds me of Les Miserables). There's a ton of payoff at the end of the book. It was super fun to read.

Es increíble lo aburrido que fue la primera mitad de la novela (muy larga, me atrevería a decir), para lo exquisito que fue el final. La novela tardo mucho en atraparme, incluso casi la abandono, pero me alegra haber continuado.

If I hadn't read it for English 4H I would have like this book better. Half of the time I didn't know what was happening and literally watched Course Hero videos about the chapters. I am basically a dumbass when it comes to 1800s literature so take this review with a grain of salt. I also hate it when I have assigned reading. So it plays in the fact that I COULD NOT finish this book for the life of me...but I did...unfortunately.

This was my third time trying to read "a tale of two cities" I gave up the first two times pretty early in the beginning because the language and plot seemed to difficult to me. I couldn't concentrate on what was actually happening. I don't know what was different this time but finally I could understand the Beaty of Charles Dickens language style and the story was just wonderful, especially for a classic.

Did I finish this? Yes. Do I have any memory of anything that happened in this? Absolutely not!
