Catherine DEFINITELY got me with the twist in this book! I was not expecting that ending. The characters both struggle with loss of loved ones and I felt their friendship was super strong. However, I struggled a little with believing Boden and Laiken's relationship. Regardless I still enjoyed reading their story and LOVED the dogs 🐶
