Although this is not my first exposure to Nick Seluk's humor and heart/brain comics, it is my first set that is together in one book. AND IT'S GREAT! I love this compilation just as much as his funny updates and little strips I see on-line. I always love his humor between the heart and brain! [a:Nick Seluck|20081060|Nick Seluck|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png] is the perfect perspective and voice to help me find the humor in myself and the little quirks of my heart wanting one thing and my brain knowing better. I love that he touched on topics like anxiety, work life/balance, self care and even forgiving yourself (and finding the homor in your own flaws). It's a great mix of funny but also loving and I must admit I'd missed this little heart and brain and loved spending the evening enjoying their little world.

A huge thank you to the author and publisher for providing an e-ARC via Netgalley. This does not affect my opinion regarding the book.

If you have seen the Heart and Brain comics on social media, then this cute little comic will make your day. Join Heart and Brain as they move side by side onward to good things. It’s sure to make you smile and laugh.

Good things come in small packages. Sometimes good things aren’t so good when in large quantities. And that’s how I feel about these comics and cartoons. I do love seeing the random panels online or even daily on a calendar but all together in one book it’s just too much. There doesn’t seem to be any overarching storyline to keep you interested in turning the page. Maybe if I read these two pages a day instead of in one sitting, I would like it more.  This is one of those “too much of a good thing” situations.
