Stories about the events of World War II have always interested me, and this story about pioneering women who flew military planes was a side I hadn’t heard about. The Flight Girls follows Audrey as she navigates the USA’s involvement in the war, love, and repeated loss. It was the perfect way to spend July 4th weekend celebrating our freedoms many men and women have sacrificed for. I definitely recommend this read!
Moderate: Death and War
