It took a little while to get into this one, but once it happened I couldn’t put it down. The plot was predictable, with a couple of twists and turns throughout. Definitely a fun summer beach read. Don’t go in expecting peak historical accuracy, but the stories told do generally reflect the historical era. Dialogue was a little simplistic and relied heavily on exposition at times, which was a challenge early.
