Im going to be honest, I cant understand a single thing Tao Te Ching is saying. My brain is already dealing with a lot of stuff and philosophy mixed with religion is migraine central everytime i try dissecting his text.

The most well put together rendition of the Tao Te Ching I've read with commentary and thoughts throughout from my lord and savior Ursula K. Le Guin.
You can't go wrong with this one.

Most of this went way over my head, but here and there I got some very nice thoughts and insights. The concept of Tao attracts me a lot, but the poetic format is a struggle for me.

Interesting. Would reread but wouldn't yet recommend to others. Quotes sutras and explains them, sometimes explanations are fairly obvious.

Wonderful translation by John Minford. The inclusion of historical commentaries and poetry was very helpful.

Oh wow. What a balm this has been for my anxiety. I’m definitely going to be reading more on Taoism and coming back to this again and again.

I'm not familiar with the I Ching or Taoism so this was a challenging read. I picked up this translation out of curiosity and being a fan of LeGuin's prose. While I can't say it changed my life or was particularly arresting, it definitely had an impact and made me read and re-read these ancient poems.
