It's an easy, fun read: perfect for someone like me who's easing back into be a regular reader after years of not reading much, if anything.

There is a brief period that has a threat of serious injury or death to an outcast woman and her companion/dog. Additionally, there are brief descriptions of the state of murder victims bodies; these descriptions are not terribly graphic, nor do they seem gratuitous to me.
