The only good thing about this book were the sex scenes.

I skimmed most of it.

Naomi is really fucking annoying and such a hypocrite. She claims to be an antisocial loner and then stays with her “best friend” after they leave her for a group of people she hates? Then she makes fun of and complains about how shy her best friend is for having a crush on a guy when she has had a crush on someone for years? Furthermore, she continuously mocks her best friend and it’s just “what are you on about girl? you’re the one making a fool of yourself in your own narrative”.

She is one of the “I’m not like other girls” and I wanted to punch her.

Don’t get me started on the clusterfuck of:

“His olive skin and light blue eyes coupled with his black hair and thick brows give him a Middle-Eastern look that made Luce fall head over heels.”

Like???? He’s either Middle Eastern or not! You don’t just “give a look”.

Most of the conversations between Naomi and Sebastian are cringy as fuck.

As the book went on Sebastian’s narration got worse and I couldn’t stand him. I don’t care about how great you are at hiding emotions and reading people, not after you’ve told me for the hundredth time.

The only somewhat good chapters besides the smut were the first three.

Definitely a let down and the lowest I’ve ever rated one of Rina’s books. The only reason I’m not giving it 0.25 stars is because of the smut.

Stars ~ 1.5

well i finished this the guy is kinda annoying i don’t like him at all and this book is giving after vibes with the ‘taking her v card for a bet’ and acting all possessive towards her after she found out and not leaving her alone even tho she’s telling him but anyway, we can’t forget the end of the book it has the worst cliffhanger he’s obviously alive or otherwise there wouldn’t be another book, i give this a 2.5 or 3/5 stars it was zzz but if you’re reading for the vibes i would say 5/5 stars, it was a really fast and easy read if english isn’t your first language you wont have a problem reading this since the vocabulary is easy and PLEASE don’t forget to check the trigger warnings!!!

One book has been split into two and released in two different months. What for? I read this in one evening. Annoying.

The characters are boring, there is no plot, except that the hero and heroine embody rape fantasy into reality.

They hardly speak. How they spend their time besides hard sex is described behind the scenes in the book.

The only tough and really terrible thing in this book is that every time Sebastian leaves Nao after sex instead of giving her an aftercare. Another book where characters play bdsm without following the rules. And another anal sex without lubrication and normal preparation.

However, surprisingly without OW / OM scenes.

Oh, and if in the second book it suddenly turns out that Akira is Sebastian's letters, then I laugh of such a mystery.

Special thanks for the fact that the author has rethought the previous books and started talking about consent. Namely consent non consent (CNC). h even got a safe word. Yay.

This duet was good. Taboo and twisted so definitely check triggers. But Sebastian and Naomi relationship is intense that’s for sure. So be prepared ha but Rina did an excellent job with this duet. Spice is

wow, it's hard to find characters who make me personally feel seen but that's how it felt with naomi. i loved her so much and i loved how, even when she developed feelings for Sebastian, she never lost her bad bitch vibes and she always defended herself which is something some girls in books tend to lose when they fall in love. this book simply made me hate reina even more than i thought i could but the ending has me super excited for the second book and i can't wait to get started right away!!
