I totally judged this book by its cover. I was not really looking forward to reading a book past November covered in Turkeys. I thought this was a holiday book left behind on the shelf. I was wrong and delighted to read this one. The illustrations are full of nice details. Pages you can really look at for a while.
The story ends up being about a husband and wife and a Turkey who starts as a nuisance and soon becomes the secret to a top notch garden. Then things get crazy! Good resolution and nice messages about working in harmony with nature.
