The fancy setting really makes this book so funny.
This is the story about a guy who wants to ask the girl he likes out, and the fancy setting decorates the non-special plot so that it becomes both hilarious and heartwarming.

Moderate: Racism
Minor: Misogyny, Sexism, and Toxic friendship
Racism toward fantasy races like dwarfs. The female characters feel a little sexist, but not like horribly sexist. It's at the level of off-putting rather than offensive (so it's better then Timeless which is not a similar book to this at all, but that book felt Super sexist to me) Basically, the female characters have rights and the ability to make their own decisions in this book (++) but they are also shallow(-) and we have quite a few Karens here (which IS funny; a lot of the jokes are made based on that premise. The amount of times the Karens called the cops [gaurds] is hilarious) The Miller was pretty developed so that's good on them.
