This book is darker than the 1st, but still a fun monster romance. This takes place about 15 years before Book 1 when Nox and Amy become bonded mates.
There is a bit of worry about their relationship being taboo because she was a child when they met but nothing happens until she is 26 and he doesn't have any sexual feelings towards her as a child. Only marginally better but I'll take it.
