I actually have very mixed emotions about this book. I have two concerns about this weird book. The first concern is that I gave it a high rating for the author having the nerve to write it. The second concern is that it really would have been better off not wasting my time reading it. I made a poor decision and will donate it to the library.

This is to me, a 4 star read. But the misogyny, SA, and the casual mention of these things just fails to sit right with me.
I get it, really, but sometimes I can’t separate the art from real life and omg. This is unbearable to think about.
It is well written and captivating, but let me hold the stars in protest.

I can see why people enjoy this book. However for me personally I couldn’t stomach the themes of the book, I understand it’s meant to be satirical or even social commentary. But I just personally felt sick reading it and I’m not someone who does not finish a book regularly.. I’m just sad I didn’t like it at all and found myself putting off reading it and would often check how far I have left to go…
