Read again because I assigned it for my Teen Book Club given that a movie version came out in Netflix and I thought that would be a big draw. (It was note.) Upon watching the movie and then rereading the book I found out that they were barely similar at all and I actually liked the movie a little better and the book less on the second read through.

This is another wonderful YA novel to scratch that romance/comedy/holiday season itch in just the right spot. I love all of the characters and all of the different stories and it brilliantly connects them together (another favourite trope).

Having different authors for each storyline was well-executed as they flowed together whilst remaining different enough that it added particular nuance to each story.

It was okay. I liked how all the stories are connected and everything comes together at the end.
First story was really fun and I feel like the writing progressed downward as the book went.
I didn't like Abbie (if that was her name) from the third story because she was a really whiney character. Also, I hated the 'cheerleader shaming' and I think it was just unnecessary.
Overall, I liked the mood of the book and it was cute, a little bit childish, winter read.

It was a quick read for the holidays. Loved that the three different stories tied together nicely at the end.

jubilee express: 3 stars
this was kinda like one of those sappy cliche rom-coms. all it was missing was katherine heigl. but who doesnt love a cheesy rom-com?!

cheertastic christmas miracle: 3.5 stars
of course john greens story would be about the nerd and the girl. although this time i didnt hate the girl! weeeee!

patron saint of pigs: 2 stars
oh my. from the first 2 pages i wanted to slap this girl. shes so annoying and whiny up until like the last 3 pages where her character does a complete 360 that is just ridiculous. its hard to get into a story when the lead is a total "asshat".

I just finished my second read of this book and loved it so much!! It’s one of my favourite Christmas reads, honestly.

I was inspired to read it again because I found out there was a movie of it (which I actually watched without realising it had anything to do with the book).

The movie is so incredibly different it’s ridiculous. I enjoyed it when I watched it, but that’s because I wasn’t thinking about the book at all. If I had, I would’ve probably hated it for all the changes they made

This was so adorable! Absolutely perfect for the Christmas season and I love how the three stories intertwined to an adorable conclusion! I recommend this a lot to everyone for this Christmas period!

DNF. This was actually my very first book where I just could not stand to finish it. Now I'm just going to say that this genre isn't my particular favorite and I try to avoid it but will read some if it sounds interesting. This being said, you can take my opinion with a grain of salt since I'm not a huge fan of this genre but someone who is may like it. I had to read this book for my book club at school and I tried very hard but I could not get through the first story. The characters are stereotypes which can be fine if done correctly who constantly complain about something. This book also has a common theme of cheating and acts like it is okay because then you'll find "the one" ??? I'm sad that I unfortunately spent money on this book and wasted my time with other books to try and read this one. If you're into the genre maybe give it a chance? But if you're like me then you should probably just skip it :/

I don't tend to read A. short stories B. holiday-themed fiction, so I'd never have picked this up if not for YABC. A very enjoyable bit of fluff, despite a few incongruous details, especially the first story. Weakest was John Green, who is just not my cup of hot cocoa.
