In 20 years, Kiki drinks from a mug that says, "Poor planning on your part does not necessitate an emergency on mine" and runs a rather different sort of delivery business.
But really, this is a lovely story.

Cute and fun! Very different from the film but the start is very similar. This Kiki doesn’t get burn out but she is anxious to prove herself.

This is a book for children so I kept that in mind while reading it. That said I found Kiki less likable and the story less enchanting than the anime but it was still a very whimsical and positive little story.
