OMG this was next level sweet and beautiful and is going directly to my mental happy place

I enjoyed this book in a way most people can't imagine. I cried big crocodile tears, smiled like some weird psycho, and laughed like a clown on drugs. So yeah this really fulfilled all my emotions at the same time.

And the reason for that is Maybell and Wesley!!!! Both these characters were ridiculously adorable, relatable, and wholesome at the same time. Maybell being in a constant dream coma was one of the most relatable things I've seen a character do. And I saw myself so much in Wesley!! His grumpiness and social anxiety were managed in the best way possible. And I really doubt I can describe my love for this book in other words so hear me out: I LOVED THIS BOOK.

PD: I don't think this is an objectively 5 stars book but I really loved and it came to me at the right moment of my life.

This story was super sweet. Maybell and Wesley were adorable and both likable character—once I got to have any idea of the kind of person Wesley was. I enjoy a good slow burn but this was a bit too slow even for me. It’s not about how long it takes them to get together but rather how long it takes them to really interact at all. Also, I sometimes found it hard to follow when Maybell slipped into and out of her imaginary world.

This book has officially put me in a diabetic coma from how SWEET IT IS! I’ve never read such a wholesome, fluffy, cute read like this one. My heart is full of love, and my eyes are full of (happy) tears.

First let’s talk about Maybell. I see parts of myself in her in the way she avoids confrontation/is a people pleaser to a fault/has elaborate daydreams etc. I love when I can connect to characters, it just makes my experience that much better. I love her character growth throughout the book. I know she’s not real, but I really want to be her friend. She also has the best sense of humor ugh she’s perfect!

And Wes...MY HEART! I want to swaddle him and rock him to sleep because he’s so precious to me. A literal Thor sized teddy bear who is not only an environmentalist-vegetarian-artist but also so so so caring under his grumpy exterior (that I totally understand). I mean I literally cried when I found out his living arrangements?!?!

It was such a great read! I can think of the perfect words to say but... I hope to have similar story as Maybell's>< I mean, she's so lucky for Wesley. And also, Wesley just set the bar too high for me!!(I'm not complaining!)

And I'm definitely buying the physical book hehe^^

dnf for now

the vibes are quirky little romcom w a bit of a pushover fmc and standoffish mmc

after read:

BRUH i was giggling af all they did was make out and i was sitting there like a victorian man that had just seen an ankle like omg huffing and puffing and blushing FR

anyway you really have to be in the right mood for this type beat bc it is super hallmark so the fluff becomes insane at some point but OMG so cute
