This series just keeps getting better and better! I love that Emersyn finally lets the guys see her scars, both external and internal. She is so broken but they are helping put her back together a little more every day. I love that the truth is finally out about Liam and why he left the Vandals. They finally realize that he didn’t abandon them, he was there the whole time. We get to see more of the building relationships between Emersyn and all of the guys. Milo included, and he’s finally come off his kick about making her leave. Every time I think I have a favorite guy (Freddie after the last book) someone comes along and shakes it all up. All the guys are amazing, but I feel like Kellan and Jasper got a little more spotlight this time around, though there are a lot of great moments with all of them. Rome

This book was so good. Seeing Emersyn regain pieces of herself little by little. And seeing the guys all help her do that in different ways is so sweet. She still has a lot to work through but I love seeing just how strong and resilient she is.
I loved seeing Lainey and Milo’s relationship grow. I am here for it all the way. I also love seeing Mili and Emersyn get closer and him taking her to Ms. Stephanie 🥹
seeing milo shut down when Lainey left hurt me for him. I didn’t think he would take it as hard as he did.
Then all crap broke loose. Freddie’s moment where he needed Embersyn and then Jasper 😭 my heart dropped to the floor.
Then all heck broke loose and left me in a tailspin of emotions. And just when you think that things may be turning around and calming down BAM you are hit with THAT ENDING 😱
I have so many theories and so many questions.

love it

I cant say it enough how much I love this series!! With each book I fall more in love with Emersyn and her guys. This book focus mainly on Emersyn recovering from the trauma that happened in the last book and the guys standing by her in any way that she needs. They have a new / old enemy in this book and it was exciting to see how she fits into to their gang life. Can’t wait to see what trouble she is in now. At least she is with Rome.

Oh boy, correction, Oh boy's!!

I absolutely loved this book and the series. Though in all honesty, some things have gotten me a little twisted, I guess is the right word. I love Liam!! I have very mixed feelings about Doc, and that relationship! I am not working on my own theories of how things will play out and it sucks cause I don't really don't like any of them. The book gives you just enough to try and see what twists and turns are coming up but does not give anything away. Now I just have to keep myself busy until September.

Oh my heart…All The Feels!

What an emotional rollercoaster of all the feels! This series has one of my favorite themes…family is what you make it! Their bonds might not all be by blood, but their loyalty, trust, and love they have for one another is amazing. Emersyn is still dealing with the hurt from the past and facing the fear of her “family.” However, this book shows you just what making your own family is all about. The devotion these guys have for her is filled with passion, lust, love, and unconditional friendship. I love everything about this book…yes even the heart stopping cliffhanger we get left with. This book had such good highs and such awful lows. Some parts were so sweet or so exhilarating that it kept me reading for them, but then others would just drag on and on, and a lot of that has to do with Emersyn herself. I have no respect for characters that force everyone around them to walk on eggshells around them. Any mention of Emersyn in this book--even worse than in the first 4 books--was just constant wariness from everyone around her and that got old a few chapters in. They speak proudly of how strong she is but she very rarely shows it (though a few parts were amazing). What a hassle to put up with her honestly. And then she has to repeat the same conversations of worthiness, shame, fears, triggers, trust, etc. with all seven of them separately, and we have to read them each time. It's so repetitive and annoying.

I skimmed so much of this book because of that, but I was also looking for the other parts of story I wish we saw more of. It was awesome seeing the guys deal with the many threats around them, especially the glimpses of how hard and efficiently they hit back when threatened. Liam is definitely the guy you want on your team. It was also great seeing the tentative and slow trust building between Emersyn's guys and Lainey's guys. Can't wait for more of that in the next book. I just hope it drags less than the first five have. I can't handle rehashing things that we've gone over multiple times in the first 5 books.
