I enjoyed it! I didn't like the story too much when I listened to the audiobook, and I'm not really sure why that was. The story has all the makings of a classic Batman tale--of what I love in my favorite Batman stories.

Reseña SIN spoilers.
(ENGLISH review in the comments).

In this novel, the author introduces a Bruce Wayne who is turning eighteen and about to inherit his family's fortune, not to mention the keys to Wayne Enterprises. After his birthday party, he is involved in a run-in with the police, so he's forced to do community service at Arkham Asylum, where he meets a disturbed young woman named Madeleine Wallace, for whom he will develop a dangerous obsession.
Madeleine is part of an organization called the Nightwalkers, a group of criminals who terrorize the richest and most powerful of Gotham City.

What can I tell you without going into details? I liked the construction of the characters. The story is told entirely from Bruce’s point of view, so we get more attached to him, but Madeleine’s character is also quite interesting, you don’t know what’s true and what’s a lie in regard to her until the very end. Alfred was exactly how I pictured him, and I was pleasantly surprised to read about Dianne and Harvey in their youth, as Bruce's best friends at school.

I will admit I was expecting a more resentful, darker Bruce. I know it's a YA novel, I didn’t expect violence or death, but my mental image of him was of a gigolo on the outside, who’s burning with anger and grief inside. On the contrary, I this Bruce is quite at peace, very focused, nothing outlandish, who thought very little about a possible revenge. Now that I think about it, I liked this Bruce, he seemed more authentic. He was always thinking about how to contribute to Gotham City, how to use WayneTech's technology to improve the safety of the citizens.

The story was good, fast paced, although it doesn’t have as much action as Wonder Woman: Warbringer, and it is quite short. Once again, I’m eager to read more about the early life of these superheroes, by the hand of these authors. I’m also looking forward to reading the next two novels in this series!

Batman by Marie Lu was awesome! I really liked this book.
This story was interesting take on the Dark Knight. It was not exactly a Batman origin,
but a story about Bruce Wayne doing what is right. Also, I enjoyed Marie Lu's writing because she pulled me into her creative world where Batman exists.
