Decent concept but the ick…

Many other reviewers have given good overviews of the book as a whole some I’m only gonna talk about the ick factors.

First, the timeframe from when the sister dies and Pen and the boys start “f*cking around” is a matter of weeks, maybe 5. When you read what their “f*cking around” entails you’ll get why that’s an ick.

Second, condoms, condoms, condoms nowhere. As sexually active as these guys (especially Dylan) are portrayed as this is just irresponsible not to mention gross. It’s even mentioned several times that their arrangement is not exclusive.

Third, and for me the one I really couldn’t get over, a*ss to mouth and a*ss to vajay. Now I love me some good raunchy, filthy sex, but again this is just gross. As I said, there are no condoms or washing to be had. These four are like a Petri dish of STD’s and unplanned pregnancy just waiting to happen.

I had other issues with the story such as the very flimsy reason the sister killed herself, how she “begged with her eyes” to the boys, and that for it being a RH story Felix seemed to be the main male in the relationship because of his intense jealousy, to the point where Pen couldn’t even sleep in the other boys beds. Even in the extended epilogue he wouldn’t “allow” her be with Dylan.

Something about it weirds me out. I read evil boys before this, and so I just think of Felix as a brother. I don't get why he loves hurting people so much... it's creepy. I also had a perception of Nathan, and he is way different in this book, and it makes me lose respect. Their "deal" also feels gross.

Honestly, the only reason that I pushed through was because I had been reading it for a week, and I didn't want that week to go to a complete waste.

I hated the guys. Creepy. Kinky. And fucking weird.

Listen. I love dark romance and shit. Reversed harem, even better. But this is just a big NO. The characters were shit. It was giving dub con, but not in a good way. A lot of miscommunication and betrayal-still have no idea how, after everything, she got back with them.

This book is also very unrealistic. It's not the abuse part but the smut. How tf-.
