Phew!!! I love it when molly writes darker stories!! Everything tied in perfectly to finish off this
beautiful series. From the Redemption series, I was hooked. And then she added a spin-off series, that made me fall in love with the Rebels. Anytime I finish a book from one of her series I say that I really love this couple. I said that after reading about Lily and Dare. And then changed my tune to Kieran and Jess. But then kept changing it. Now all of my love is focused on one, sole, brooding character. And that is Conor. Conor has always had his brother Beck by his side. They joined the Holloways together, and with Kieran the three of them were an unstoppable force. When Beck died, Conor’s whole world shifted in an instant. Not long after, when he started at ARCK he was transfixed by Einstein. Always believing that he was in love with her. And when Einstein was taken, he vowed to get her back, but knew that he’d never love be loved by her the way she loved Maverick. That is until he meets Sutton. I was confused for a bit by who Sutton was. Until I read the emails and then I had to jog my memory back to Lock, when I remembered who Sutton really was. From then on, her story was confusing, and tragic, and heart breaking, and frustrating. She was trapped in a life with a daughter that she had no way of protecting. Sutton wanted to get away from her husband, who kidnapped Einstein, but had no way out. Sutton and Conor butted heads like no other. Sutton was stubborn. Conor was protective. Sutton was high-maintenance. Conor travelled light. Speaking of light...Lexi was THE bright light through it all. As a little girl, she's already seen way too much. Kids are perceptive, so what adults don't see kids do. And this was the case with Lexie when she knew something bad was about to happen.

Sutton and Conor had beautiful, heart breaking conversations. If I wasn't in a public space then I'm 100% positive tears would have been flowing and I wouldn't have had to stop them with a tissue. I loved that they were both open to loving. But it broke my heart to think that they had a timeline (which they should have), because in any other situation their love would have thrived. Thank goodness for the rest of my mobsters. They helped put pieces together and pull information out of Sutton that was painful to read. And upon that, I even felt Conor's anguish during her "interrogation". This was an epic conclusion to a beautiful series. I will miss my rebels dearly, but Molly did them all justice. She gave them happiness. She gave them freedom.

[I received a digital arc for an honest review]

Limit is the final installment to Molly McAdam's REBEL series. It can be read as a standalone but it's one of those books that means so much more when you already have an investment in all the characters from the previous novels.

Connor is the calm and leveled headed one in the unconventional group of people he considers family. He is the protector and the one put in charger of keeping the current clients safe. Those clients being Sutton and her young daughter Alexis. Sutton's husband is a twisted and evil man, and she's learning her life has been nothing but lie upon lie. It isn't long before things between them become complicated. Connor's feelings of hate towards her are changing and Sutton is no longer afraid of the stranger she;s been told to fear. But Sutton's lies and omissions make it hard for Connor and his team to stay ahead of her husband and keep her and her daughter safe.

I don't even know where to start. This book was non-stop, even when they were doing nothing but waiting for something to happen, emotions were intense. Connor was a big strong protector with a sensitive soul. Sutton was a mess, which is expected when your whole life is turned inside out in the matter of a few days and you can't trust your own thoughts. Lexi was a bit odd but adorable and added some much-needed light to a dark story line.

Molly McAdams writing was on point. You could feel like anxiety, stress and fear of the characters along with the feelings of need and passion. The intimate scenes were beautifully written and the connection between Connor and Sutton was honest and real. The story had me on the edge of my seat, my head spinning, my heart hurting and then left me with a smile on my face.

Overall, the Rebel series by Molly McAdams was a wild ride and Limit was a satisfying ending to it. If you like suspenseful romances that are a bit gritty and a whole lot intense, I recommend checking out this series.

"That damn Prince Charming smile hidden within that intimidating, tattoos, avenging angel."

"Our next kiss began slow and quickly built. Consuming, Pushing and pulling. Fighting and clashing, A beautiful storm that had no ending."
