This book kinda crushed me. The ending was so sad and just…😭. There were some aspects of this story I really didn’t appreciate. The characters are teenagers in Highschool so they talk about and experiment with some inappropriate things. I didn’t like that part of the book. However, the writing was beautiful and I really appreciated some of the metaphors. I liked the way the highs and lows were written. Finny was such a kind character I absolutely love him. I’m not sure I would recommend to a friend because of the inappropriate conduct but the other aspects of the story I really enjoyed. I may or may not read the story from Finny’s POV.

I read this really easy and it was easy to keep up with. The end is a lot to take in but the book over all I loved. Definitely recommend for ages about 16-21 since it is a highschool romance.

It was kind of predictable most of the time and
I HATE the baby trope so I didn't like the end of this book
overall not bad but not the best. I think it is overrated.

I don’t know how to feel right now. Just omg this book! Then ending! I can’t just why did that have to happen. I’m not okay after that. This book was so good, and the characters are all very relatable and awesome. The writing is amazing and that ending was insane!

i need a minute.

ok.

“I think,” I say, “I think we’re supposed to experience as much beauty as we can.”
“Isn’t that the same as happiness too?” Jaime says. I shake my head. The grass pulls at my hair.
“No, because sometimes sad things are beautiful,” I say. “Like when someone dies.”

well, this was painful. and so so sad. but beautiful -- in the way sad things can sometimes be.
I went into this book expecting a mystery of sorts. but what I got was a beautiful, tragic, *star-crossed* romance. and I'm definitely not mad at it.
I don't have much to say to be honest, whatever I say might just be an understatement. I loved everything about it. it was all so well thought out. the writing was absolutely exquisite. the characters were so fleshed out. they had their flaws, and they had their strengths. and I loved them so.
and of course the plot was perfect.
I am heart broken. and I am sad. yet I am amazed.
