Art work was really pretty. Not a fan of cats but so far I thought this was cute. Funny dialogue. Can't judge the plot just yet but I am interested to see where this goes.

Too early to tell, where this is going to go, but I'm intrigued.

Wayward is a short but captivating graphic novel that fuses the cultures and myths of Japan and Ireland with a modern twist. The artwork is as colorful as the characters and the anthological passages were interesting insights into the ancient beliefs of each society. The story is a bit meandering at times but I wish there had been more of it, the ending felt quite abrupt. Overall a great lazy Sunday read.

From the first issue it feels a bit like a guilty pleasure kind of a comic with a mahou shoujo vibe to it, but I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next couple of issues.

Loved this first issue!!! Can't wait for the next one.
And, the Japanese folklore and mythology at the end was a added bonus!

While the first issue was short it was a really great start to the series. It was fast paced, beautiful backgrounds and funny characters. Loved it and will continue the series.

Really interesting introduction to a series - love the art and the setting. (I'd recommend reading the "Welcome to weird Japan" thing in the back because it's super interesting).
