I'm really really confused, but I'm also really glad to have read this. I LOVE Alex Kingston for writing this, eventhough I didn't really get part of it. I'll like anything River related tbh

I enjoyed the Melody Malone sections the most, her voice was similar to River’s yet distinct and the world building was great.  I would love to read more of her. The River sections were good but lost me a bit in the second half.

I wanted to love this because I love all things Doctor Who and River Song, but it was a little hard for me to stay engaged. I listened to it, rather than reading it, and Alex Kingston is a great narrator,  I just didn't love it.

I really did enjoy this book. It was great to have more River Song, and I appreciated the callbacks to the TARDS/DW and those mentions of Amy and Rory. The story was also very interesting, if a little complicated at times.
