overall, not a terrible finish for the trilogy, but it felt rushed and kind of had a storyline out of left field? I feel that there were still loose ends from books one and two that were abandoned in this book, as well as loose ends from this plot line that never were addressed. not the strongest story wise, though I did like the plot overall and appreciated the character development, even though I don’t think it was done in the best way.

✨REVIEW✨
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m so glad I decided to read the rest of the series after my underwhelming experience reading The Cruel Prince. (Again, I read TCP in 2020 during the worst reading slump I’ve endured so far so I don’t blame the story itself.)
After that jaw dropping plot twist at the end of The Wicked King, I immediately picked up the finale. It was such a joy to return to the Faerie Court. The plot might be a bit predictable but it was the perfect ending to this fantastic series.
Definitely worth the hype!
TW: child abuse and neglect, parental abandonment, cheating, alcohol consumption, blood and gore depiction, cannibalism, murder, war themes
12/60
