How to put into words the feelings I have for this book, this series?
I think this one is the one this year that I thought the most about.

Brothersong was the perfect ending to this saga. Finally we got to see the fate of the last Bennett boy, Carter and also the four-book epic adventure of this wonderful pack comes to an end.

First, about Carter's part. This is the only book when we have the POV of one of the Bennett's and it gives so much extra now that we know most of the story. Carter's insight to the past is finally hands on and tells so much little detail about the family. He's bond with his brotbers is something else and his strong, beutiful big brother heart is precious.

His journey at the beginning of the book was utterly heartbreaking. Thr only thing keeping him from loosing it is his brother.
And his fight for Gavin is something grand. He shows the only way he can that he won't ever let go, would never give up.
And then, their relationship is amazing. It shows that they are friends first and then it goes way beyond that. The way they seem to ground each other and find a purpose to fight harder than ever before took my breath away.

And of course thier story intertwines with the big events of the story. After three books you would think the pack suffered enough but they don't have peace. And what I liked the most is that it showed. Every single character said they had enough and that they are tired of fighting battles they don't want and would be ready to end it. Their heart, their warrior heart shines.

I cried on every other page. So much emotion. So much love. Such beautiful thoughts and ideas.
Every character was there who we came to love through the three previous books. They were there and they were still the amazing, funny, loveable, beautiful people.
Joe and Ox and Marc and Gordo and Kelly and Robbie and Carter and Gavin and Elizabeth and Rico and Chris and Tanner and Jessie and Bambi and little Joshua and Dominique and the town of Green Creek.

This was the perfect ending, a winddown, a final battle for peace. I loved it... truly loved it!
