One word only: disturbing 😳

But a little bit more…, I don’t know what to make out of it. The story really caught me and made me angry and sad and depressed and made me feel impotent.

it's very intense, the themes and meanings within the play are really deep and symbolic of different aspects of society; it's also quite heavy in terms of some of the topics Williams included.

Such a sad story. Reread it after watching it at my kid's high school play. Full of triggers, and not for the faint of heart. Brave of Tennessee Williams to tackle these topics. A classic for a reason.

i want to say that i just didn’t get it, but i really feel like this was just okay. i don’t see what’s so prolific about the lives of blanche, stella, and stanley ft. mitch. very tragic at some parts, but tragedy doesn;t pull on me like it used to in order to earn more than 2.75 stars.
