I listened to this on audio in one sitting and as usual I feel like it reduced my enjoyment a little bit. The narration was a bit robotic and there wasn't enough distinction between voices which would have been clearer had I read it in print I think. I did enjoy the character development, the relationship between Hannah and her grandfather as well as the mystery surrounding her husband's disappearance.

I can't quite figure out why I didn't love this book. The main character was relatable, the storyline was interesting. But the "big twist" wasn't quite what I was hoping. I would still recommend it though! The story was engaging and it was a pretty good page turner! Solid 3 stars.

Super engaging! Super readable! 4.5 stars!
I liked this because it was a thriller with an element of danger but it was also super focused on the importance of family.
People have written much better reviews and synopses on the actual plot of the novel, but I liked this a lot.
People say the ending and plot is a bit far fetched - I can see it, but also I can see it being plausible…kinda?

Anywho, if you’re after a good novel, look no further!

Very easy read but nothing too deep or memorable - perfect read to cleanse in between genres

I liked this one but didn’t love it. I was definitely hooked and wanted to find out how it would end but it wasn’t that captivating honestly. Some parts were far fetched and the ending was ok. I am excited to watch the show on Apple TV though!
