The Wrong Game was a sweet, sports romance that tugged on my heartstrings. I had fun reading this book. I smiled and giggled, but also felt their pain in my heart.

I voluntarily read an early copy.

I looved this book! It’s really hard to find a great romantic contemporary book and this checked every box! The writing is fantastic! Dialogue, secondary characters all so wonderful! The MCs were perfection, loved their povs and Zach was the hottest cinnamon roll I’ve read in a while! I will definitely be reading more from this author!

I’m really intrigued by the plot but there’s so many books I want to read rn, so I’m putting this on the back burner

Good thing they didn’t try to sell us on a Bears Super Bowl win. I mean yeah this is fiction, but it’s not fantasy… kidding kidding. Super cute unique take on a sports romance. Agree with other reviews that the biggest issue was with Gemma’s self sabotaging constantly. I also think that this book would benefit from a bit of editing. There was one point when Roy turned into Ron as well as a few sentences that didn’t make sense. But not deal breakers for me.

I did not like any of the characters.
Zach came across as whiny.
Belle is way too pushy and the premise of her knowing what Gemma wants etc is just frustrating/annoying.
Gemma has this “pick me I’m not like other girls cause I know sports” persona that I’m not vibing with.
