That was such a satisfying end of a series. I got so much more payoff than I expected! Not only just an ending to the couple and to their next steps and defeating the bad guy, but also defeating an entire oppressive regime. That was needed for me today.

My favorite series in The Guild Codex universe comes to a (satisfying) end. I LOVED it.

Warm recommendations to the whole set of this series. FYI They are best if read in the published order because the events overlap.

I was quite disappointed with this book due to personal reasons. The author was consistent with her writing and plot but I think I am not the same person who picked this series in the first place. Things that made me cheer for the characters before, on this book they were just annoying.
Anyway, I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 because I was truly surprised with the ending

for a second there I thought "oh this is so sad" and my heart was sqeezed a little bit but then BOOM happy-cliche-annoying-ending

I was too bitter while reading this book. Overall it accomplished to answer all questions and plots from the previous volumes.
I recommend not only this book but all Demonized series for anyone who is interested in paranormal YA, forbidden romance, nerd-girl thrope, hot-male-interest and slow-burn.
