A delightful look at Lynda Benglis's funny and innovative oeuvre. While I felt that Richmond at times inserted too much of her own interpretations into her descriptions of Benglis's artistic intent, it was interesting to see how she contextualized Benglis's art in the midst of changing attitudes in the art world and socioeconomic forces that impacted whether art would receive the approval of the art world.
