For the first third the main character annoyed me so much, but it improved pretty quickly.
Some of the midway plot points were really tense, I couldn’t stop reading!

A YA horror/ghost combo.

It was ok, I quite enjoyed it but it did feel very YA🤔

Really liked Lex as a character.

I really loved this book. The suspense had me constantly reading without putting it down. I wish the epilogue had been a little better but other then that I really loved it

I couldn't bring myself to like any of the characters. They were shallow and nasty to each other, and they all seemed bizarrely unmoved by the deaths of the people around them. The claustrophobic sections in the tiny caves could have been ramped up further for more effective scares, and the mystery was a little convoluted. That said, this book was an absolutely good enough read to blitz on a long train jour why or an evening at home.

The imagery was so good and I genuinely felt claustrophobic for most of it. However, I was disappointed in the lack of the supernatural.
