This was such a brilliant read. I got to about half way through and was annoyed thinking, god, why don’t men ever write women as 3D characters? Why is so much of Mrs. Robinson’s character being left out? Why doesn’t Elaine ever say anything? And then it hit me - he’s not being honest with us, and that’s the whole point.
Final comments before I make a tea: The novel is only around 200 pages which is a blessing! Ben is dreadful! Justice for G. Robinson! I’m going to watch the film!

A peculiar story of what turns out to be a relatively twisted young protagonist contorted by older accomplices. Disturbing one.
