I listened to this audiobook and it was so. Damn. Funny! I was literally laughing out loud and demanding that my husband listen to things I’d already listened to several times over myself.

A good but uneven collection of essays. A lot were terrific but then there were short pieces that felt as if they were included as padding.

This is a bad book.

It had, and I say this as a Millennial, very Millennial humor and writing style. It was like something you would have read on BuzzFeed in 2012. I don't know it just felt dated and stagnant. And I genuinely was surprised when I saw the date it was published. It gave off such a distinct era of writing to me.

The writer has skill but not taste.

There are better essay collections out there, literally the other ones referenced in the book description are more worth your time.

I don't like when books make me into a hater, but this is not a razor sharp, smart or funny book.

I think I liked one essay, but have already forgotten it.

Funny. Less thoughtful than I thought it would be though.
