A tale in the vein of Mark Tufo's Zombie Fallout, but with an antagonist not as likeable as Talbot, this definitely becomes more enjoyable after the first half. I'm not sure if this because it gets better or you just get used to the unnamed protagonist being a complete ass. There is solid character development, good world building, lots and lots of zombies, and humour aplenty - the 'good guy' just isn't very good. But it works.

Predictable, fat shaming, and glorifies toxic masculinity. Waste of time.

I dunno guy's... I think it is not as good as "Run" but still very readable. Will try my luck with book 2 now.
