I'm giving this one immediate points for being a YA novel not afraid of sex or 'those dreaded curse words'. Yes, people 14+ know how babies are made and they know how to swear. Deal with it.
I loved the premise, and the pacing and the story itself. I loved the action scenes that were like YES ACTION POW POW KILL BADDIES
That's all I can say though. I do not know anything about nanotechnology. I flunked science and do not want to learn about nanotechnology, therefore I had absolutely no idea what the fuck was happening half the time.
Good book though.

At first, it starts out fine, not too much violence, however, the more you read, the more violent it gets. It actually includes vivid descriptions (mostly visual imagery) of death, plane crash, injury (including blood, etc.), it was just too much for my liking.

You know that frustrating start of every book, when you are only given snippets of information, most of which means nothing to you since you have no basis of what is actually going on? This book has that, but it lasts for almost the whole book.
It was interesting, yes, but also very confusing. I found myself skipping over whole paragraphs of unnecessary description that added little to the story itself. I liked the characters and I liked the action/suspense, but the book was just a little outside my interests.

I love the Gone series but this one is just quite gross and unrealistic and too scienc-y whilst not being accurate. I mean if it was fun to read, I wouldn’t have cared but it wasn’t.

A good start to a new series. In introduces you to the concepts of what could easily become a frightening reality. The slang they use takes sometime to get use to but was worth the investment.

Wow.
The first half of the book was good. I was really confused and didn't always know what was going on, but it was good.
Then the second half blew me away. The characters that I suddenly fell in love with, the mind-blowing descriptions of what it looks like inside you.
