It's kind of hard to describe how much I love Grantchester (the tv series) and this book was all of that goodness in book form. Another reviewer said the characters were similar enough to feel like visiting old friends but the stories were distinct enough to not feel you're just reiterating a known story. One of my favourite books of the year. Turns out I love cosy mysteries! Love love love.

It's a murder mystery so you have murder, but it's not graphic and the gory details aren't a focus at all
