Caitlín was raised in an Irish crime family and is very used to dangerous men. Upon meeting Roarke she knew he was dangerous but it only added to his allure. This is a sultry grumpy/sunshine romp that will keep you rooting for love. A fantastic addition to the series.

Once again I was pulled in from page one. This series has become one of my favs and Roarke and Caitlín’s story was a great addition to it. Right off the bat Roarke is asked to watch over Caitlín, which he doesn’t really want to do, but for Carrick he knows he will. Caitlín is excited to get away from Brooklyn and visit family, when she arrives and discovers she will have a bodyguard she is not happy, so she decides to do what she does best and break the rules. The banter between her and Roarke is great and the way she tries to drive him mad made me laugh. When lines starts to cross and things start to get serious, could it be more? Throw in an enemy and some danger. What more could you really ask for? Excited for Cian’s story next!

Ohh. Roarke is so stoic I love to see how Caitlin softens him as the story moves along. I've wanted Caitlin's story since she was introduced. This does not disappoint.

Trigger Warnings include:
mafia related violence including on page torture, mentions of homelessness, human trafficking, cancer, death of a loved one
Roarke is the enforcer…and yeah, I was excited about that. What added to my happiness? He’s a cat dad. The dependable killer comes home and cuddles his sweet kitty at the end of the day. So obviously, I was instantly a goner for this man. Roarke is tasked to keep an eye on Caitlin. However, he wasn’t planning on babysitting. She caught his eye 5 years ago, and now that she’s in front of him again, it doesn’t matter that she’s making his life a living hell. He can’t stay away from her. Unfortunately for him, Caitlin didn’t fly across the Atlantic to have some old guy following her every move. So give him hell she does! Until they both start trusting each other, opening up to each other. They became different people. Their true selves. They’re vulnerable, and it’s not just new, it’s beautiful! Also, she’s just as stubborn and just as much of a badass as him. So it was always meant to be!
