I learned so much in this book that I realize I know very, VERY little about Ms. Monroe.

I think this book is about as close to her story as you can get for children. I like that it is just her rise to fame and doesn't cover anything after her first film. I also like how it doesn't shy away from her modeling career. The whole series of Little People Big Dreams is great!

This is the second book in this series that I've read and I'm a huge fan. They're beautifully illustrated, quick reads that are super interesting. Perfect for all ages. I'll definitely be reading more.

This is the second in the series I have read. I continue to love how the author is able to summarize the highlights of Marlilyn's life in an inspiring and positive way.

This is another great read in a fantastic children's book series. It continues to add some biography reads into the children's non-fiction book world. Marilyn Monroe is such a unique woman and has one interesting story to tell. It was nice seeing her get her chance to shine in this series.
Three out of five stars.
