Not entirely sure what happened within this perplexing, but often lovely, prose.

Kind of like being trapped in a small room with a narcissist.

This book was basically about a guy bragging about knowing a lot of girls

"But I still dreaded that look. A look is very different from what one might think, it has neither light nor expression nor force nor movement, it is silent, but from the heart of the strangeness its silence crosses worlds and the person who hears that silence is changed.”

Very French, very philosophical, very much about staring death in the face. However, it was just a bland read and without it's 'literary value' there's nothing compelling about it.
