incest wasn't necessary. I get that they don't know what sex is but it still weirds me out.

The beautiful writing stands in stark contrast to the heavy subject matter and the loneliness that this book describes. I listened to the audiobook and it was very well done. The person reading has the perfect accent for the story, really helps to ground you in the setting. A great book for those that like a book where not a lot happens but each happening carries so much meaning (hopefully that makes sense out of my own head).
