Adorable, as usual. I feel Yotsuba's pain when trying to make pancakes, but she seems to have much more patience and determination than I ever do. I just give up and go to IHOP. The return of Danbo was nice to see, especially when they're trying to come up with a cover story for why his head is sitting in Miura's room. The lying episode was a bit weird though. Just a bit darker than typical, with Yotsuba clearly being terrified, which made it feel kind of out of place.

Yotsuba ccontinues to be adorable, and it turns out she makes pancakes about as well as I do. I love being able to share this sweet, innocent manga with my kids and watch them roll around laughing.

This is the quintessential Yotsuba book to me! The pancake chapter is the perfect Yotsuba chapter.

Is there a more perfect occupation than being a five-year-old? Reading about Yotsuba, I don't think so. Everyone knows that one kid, full of energy, who just wants to learn about everything. Yotsuba is the perfect embodiment of that child and I challenge you not to laugh out loud at her antics.
